Looking to make a statement with their creative and multi-layered brand of electronic alternative rock, Binaries are a band from the North East of the UK who pack enough of a distinctive appeal and dynamic edge to suggest that they might just be able to cut through the noise and make a real name for themselves, as evidenced on their thrilling debut single ‘Hush Money’.
The track sees the rising band taking aim at somebody who is a habitual liar to the extent that it begins to blur their own reality and sees them struggling to be able to separate their own lies from the truth. The immersive nature of the expansive soundscape and the emotional vocal performances make for a gripping and all-encompassing listening experience that is packed full of appeal and enduring charm, and with a full-length LP already in the works, it’s going to be really interesting to see where else Binaries push their unique sound and continue to build on it.
