The narrative of the track follows both sides of the story of a relationship that is damaged beyond repair. The thoughtful and inward-facing lyrics are candid and heavy, as musically, the outfit craft a sombre but tonally pleasing dose of cathartic indie rock. The message of the track is clear though, as is painfully the reality for a lot of relationships, sometimes all that you do is oxidate, and there’s not really much that anybody can do to fix that.
