The track is from the artists Warm Weather EP.
London-based artist Charlotte Clark showcases her wonderfully thoughtful and unique indie pop sound on ‘Odyssey’. The track sees the emerging act exploring subversive soundscapes and often deviating from brooding sounds to a chorus that feels altogether more anthemic and memorable.
Filled with pounding pop rhythms and shimmering synth patterns, the track is a creative celebration of life’s setbacks. There is something intangible unique about Charlotte and her sound that just feels really personal and specific to her. ‘Odyssey’ sees this one of a kind artist continue to establish herself and her art and hopefully continue to knock doors down.
“‘Odyssey is about letting go of the pressure we put on ourselves to be one particular person. It’s a look at identity and an exploration of how we can be so multifaceted”, Charlotte explains. “We’re beautiful and ugly at the same time, the saint and the sinner, the mad and the tamed. It’s a study on the common ground that lies beneath all of our common complexities.”
