The track is an exploration of the psyche of the artist in a lot of ways, examining the differences between her sober insecurities and drunken over-exuberance, and trying to find some kind of middle ground in between.
The result is a schizophrenic track that seems to flit between the two, but Charlotte holds the track together with her thoughtful writing and effortless vocals and it manages to feel impossibly cohesive and engaging.
