CHILDCARE are an act that have established a reputation for being one of the most consistent and reliable forces in UK music. Following on from their critically acclaimed 2019 debut Wabi-Sabi, the outfit have now released three singles from its successor, Busy Busy People, which is touted for release in September.
The latest of which is ‘Little Secret’, a barnstormer of a track that showcases the unique personality and appeal of the outfit. This is quintessential CHILDCARE. Speaking about their new single CHILDCARE explain “‘Little Secret’ is one of those songs which has taken years to come together; we’ve had the chorus for a long time but could never quite get the verses or feel of the song right. It wasn’t until I started interviewing friends and asked them to each share a secret with me that the song clicked into place and we recorded it for this album. ‘Little Secret’ is therefore like a smoothie mix of lots of different people’s secrets, blended for your pleasure.”
