The track follows on from the outfit’s debut release ‘I Was Asleep’.

Bathed in fuzz and exciting idiosyncrasies, ‘Lucy, Lucy’ is the second single from eclectic and wholly unique four-piece congratulations.

While their debut release ‘I Was Asleep’ was not without its quirks, ‘Lucy, Lucy’ is a track that makes it feel bizarrely normal. Borrowing from a wide range of sounds and styles, yet always managing to feel harrowingly accessible and fun thanks to its odd melodies and juxtapositions. ‘Lucy, Lucy’ is a triumph in doing your own thing and doing it immaculately. If you can keep up with the near-constant tonal shifts and left turns among the relentless bass, then there is a lot to love here. A stellar release from a really exciting emerging outfit.

“We’re keen to avoid pigeonholing ourselves- we like the idea of free flowing influences in every track, letting anything and everything seep through – that way they always come out sounding like us” says congratulations’ Greg Burns, who also produced the song.
