Manchester-based band crush return with their new single ‘all my plants are dead’. The track follows last year’s outing ‘Glue’ which saw them gain support from the likes of BBC Introducing.

Lo-fi and dreamy, ‘All My Plants Are Dead’ has an immediately endearing sound with its lucid guitar work. Underpinned by steady drums, the track is graced by glacially clear vocals before being speared with spiky riffs. It’s undeniably catchy and cute.

“The song focuses on the idea of the cold human race and an increasingly insular society,” share crush of their new single. “It’s about struggling to look after yourself as much as it is struggling to look after your houseplants.

“Really just a message of looking after and understanding each other a bit better,” they continue. “And a critique of how modern living at times can make this an unattractive and hard to achieve concept.”

‘All My Plants Are Dead’ is available now.
