UK post-punk is in the healthiest place that it has been in recent memory as of late, with a slew of outfits emerging and creating wonderfully lopsided, acerbically witty sounds that feel both distinctive and unmistakably rooted in the scene.

One of these outfits that have really caught our eye as of late are South London-via-Yorkshire band DEADLETTER, especially with the release of their new single ‘Pop Culture Connoisseur’. The track is a raucous and biting one that showcases both the tongue-in-cheek humour and volatile cutting edge that the six piece have in spades. From its fiercely delivered vocals to the track’s stomping, always memorable, danceable rhythms, DEADLETTER look to be a valuable addition to what it already an exciting scene.
