Ahead of the release of their upcoming new album Idealism, set for release on July 18th, Don’t Worry have released their thoughtful new single ‘This Time’, a track about making mistakes and doing what you can to ensure that you learn from them and grow as a result.

There is a really hard-edged and raw feel to the sound on the whole here, making for a really cathartic and authentic feeling listening experience that captures the feeling of being a young person just trying to do their best and navigate their way through the world. Challenging times are something that feel like they are growing all the more prevalent all the time recently, and the band do a great job of articulating that feeling and those experiences in a way that feels rewarding, providing a sense of solidarity and kindship along the way, exploring the hope and hardship that many of us carry with us.

“This Time is a song about learning from bad experiences and making sure you don’t make the same mistakes again.”  Songwriter Ronan Van Kehoe says. “It’s about growing as a person and coming out of a rough period into a better time. Sonically, this track takes influence from Smashing Pumpkins and other 90s/00s bands and is perhaps the most directly alt rock song on our third album Idealism.”
