Drauve follow ‘LMK’ and ‘Try’ with the dreamy ambience of new single ‘So Low’. The third single from their forthcoming EP.

Conjuring an atmospheric indie pop sound, the Pittsburgh duo tap into the same funky vein as Tame Impala and Unknown Mortal Orchestra with a penchant for the mainstream. Deploying catchy hooks and lush drones, ‘So Low’ is a deceptively bouyant sound for a song about anxiety and existential dread.

Speaking of the track, the band say that “They scrapped the demo when Victoria was unhappy with the lyrics, and had no plans to complete or release the song.”

However when Victoria was experiencing a bad bout of writer’s block during a stay in her Pennsylvanian hometown, she and Stephen decided to try to revamp the track with a bit more energy. Clearly, it worked.

‘So Low’ is available now via Invertebrate.
