Berlin-based producer Edgar Alvis’ vision of left-of-field pop music is being realised and fleshed out on his initial releases, and after teaming up with Lucie & The Robot on his stellar debut single ‘On My Own’, the artist has enlisted the vocals of the CLOUT-lauded Emina Sonnad on its follow up ‘Call My Mother’.

The thing that immediately strikes you about the track is the sheer uniqueness and audacity of the production and sound. 50’s jazz effortlessly melds with drum & bass, techno, and seemingly anything and everything in between to make a sound that feels searingly cutting edge and fresh. Emina’s uniquely poised vocals add another layer of potency and intrigue to a sound that feels sonically, in a world of its own, continuing to establish the emerging artist’s unique creative mind.
