The artist returns in emphatic fashion on her first single for a year
Her quirky and nuanced alternative pop sound has seen Erin Bloomer tipped as an emerging breakout star in the UK music scene, boasting a unique style and appeal that feels as compelling and catchy as it does memorable.
The latest single from the artist is ‘Bye Bye’, a track that feels equal parts relatable and infectiously catchy, as she explores a friends relationship that deteriorated unexpectedly. The immersive nature of the writing and the personable, resonating charm of the artist makes for a track that effortlessly hooks you along for the journey, with Erin’s alluring charm and winning charisma growing all the more prominent with each new release.
She says, “I was working at a studio on work experience when another artist called Oli Fox who was writing a track that day, asked me to vocalise his song because he thought it would sound better from a female perspective. So, I went into the recording studio and laid down the vocals for his track; he liked my voice and asked if he could come back the next day and write with me. It was the first time I’d collaborated with another writer, so I was a bit nervous, but it was a really fun experience. It was at the beginning of the summer holidays and I wrote it for one of my friends as a little musical remedy because she had been seeing a guy all year and then just as the summer holidays began, he called an end to the relationship unexpectedly.
