An artist with a vibrant and personality-filled alternative pop sound that is full of intoxicatingly catchy and fun moments, Erin Bloomer is somebody who has grown into one of the UK’s most consistent provider of sassy and brash sounds that pack a fierce, attitude-filled punch.

On her new single ‘ride a cowboy (save a horse)’, Erin trades her usual defiant energy for a more seductive and carefree sound, making for an empowering listen that never takes itself too seriously while feeling effortlessly compelling and raunchy throughout. The new single sees the artist really diving headfirst into the cowboy aesthetic through the lyrics, while the production has this atmospheric alt-pop edge to it that feels gripping and sultry throughout.

Speaking of the track, Erin says, “Honestly, with ‘ride a cowboy (save a horse)’ I just felt like writing something a bit more cheeky and fun for a change. I saw that catchphrase before somewhere and just thought “this would be hilarious to write a song about.” I think I’ve mastered the “F you” kind of tracks so it was really fun to play around with something else and it turns out I love it!! The original idea came from me becoming obsessed with the TV series Yellow Stone and after watching that I knew I needed to write a cowboy song. The people needed a bit of that cheekiness and it begs the final question: “how long can you stay on for?”
