The track sees vocalist Andrea de Varona in her absolute element here, with the Cuban American flitting between English and Miami Spanglish (I don’t know exactly what this entails but I’m going to trust them) with a deftness and sense of ease that feels effortless, as she celebrates wearing her heart and her emotions on her sleeve and feeling things deeply. ‘So Dramatic!’ is just a wildly fun time throughout, from the gloriously catchy and infectious soundscape to the fierce charisma that exudes from Andrea throughout, this track is Fake Dad at their unapologetic, quirky best, with their personality and charm shining through every facet of the sound.
