The sobering new release is their third single of 2026
A hard-hitting and deeply thoughtful new release that touches upon topical themes like the erosion of democracy, war, climate crisis, corruption and political dishonesty, latest Forgotten Garden single ‘Civilisation’ is a track that captures the state of a world that feels like it is currently in free fall, and the unease that comes with it.
This narrative is met with similarly thoughtful instrumentation, offering a nuanced and sombre listening experience to pair with the dissolusioned state that many of us have found ourselves in as things spiral out of control with no chance of us doing much of anything to stop it. There is a quite sense of frustration on the track that feels deeply resonating and relatable, with the more subdued style compounding this feeling that we’re powerless to help or reverse the trajectory of how things are going.
