“This song is about asking a partner to choose you, defend you, and love you…while realizing they might not be the person you thought they were, and that they might not care as much as you wished.” Gianna says. “I wanted this song to feel thoughtful, but knew it needed to grow with the emotion. Like the lid on your temper/emotions blowing off, but then forcing it back on.”
