The track has a really intense feel to it throughout, with their eclectic sound threatening to descending into emotional chaos throughout. As the track develops and grows more emotive and stirring, there is a real sense of catharsis that comes with it, as the autobiographical and thoughtful lyrics give way to soaring gang vocals of woah-ohs that serves as the emotional climax of the track. ‘Kids’ Table’ is a fun, atmospheric and engaging introduction to their new album, and a great showcase of the band and their unique take on emo.
