The Brighton band’s latest release is one that listeners in the UK will probably relate to all too well, with it exploring the sad state of politics and deteriorating standard of living in a post-lockdown society. ‘Medicine’ serves as something of a protest anthem against what has quickly became the status quo, as acerbic and barbed lyrically as it is sonically, and a rage-filled shot in the arm to listeners who have apathetically just accepted the struggle that comes with being working class right now.
