Liverpool and rap are two words that you don’t really tend to see associated with each other all that often, with the genre seeing the vast majority of its traction coming from down south, but 17-year-old Hazey has taken the scene by storm, and looks to have crafted his biggest success yet on new release ‘Packs and Potions’.

Characterised by his thick accent and the litany of football references that serve as a fun distraction for anyone in the know, the track continues to establish the artist and his uniquely engaging sound. There is a really distinctive feel to this, and it is great to see these kinds of styles of rap popping up around the UK and providing us with authentic and new listening experiences.
