Packing a real cutting edge and more than a hint of sarcasm, latest Jess Ball release ‘Thank You’ continues to showcase the winning sound and personality of the Australian pop artist.

From its fun guitar riffs, to the artist’s cutting, acerbic lyrics, the track is an empowered and impactful tale about having your time wasted. The artist is uncompromising with her bitter tone and writes in a candid and authentic way that feels both relatable and affable. ‘Thank You’ has a catchy chorus that is sure to whir around your head for long after your listen, and the track continues to cement Jess’ place as an interesting and engaging force in modern pop.

“’Thank You’ explores the anger and annoyance that people often experience at the end of a relationship, despite what the title otherwise suggests,” explains Jess. “Though the song sings ‘thank you,’ it really means ‘screw you,’ giving the song a really sarcastic tone throughout. Most people could probably think of a time where they haven’t been treated well, or have been stuffed around by someone, and this is a tribute to all of them. While some relationships serve you some good and teach you lessons worth learning, others are a complete waste of time.”
