“I wanted to understand my feelings and make light of a dark time.” JiLLi says of the track. “I wrote my own narrative that made me feel empowered through rejection – honestly! Which I think is a perspective that isn’t glorified when the things are falling apart. It wasn’t meant for me and that was bittersweet.”
