This bit of a bite that is added to the sound works really nicely, showcasing a different facet to the artist, and the energetic indie rock atmosphere makes for a sound that feels as catchy and immersive as it does cutting at times. The track is an agitated, anthemic bop that is just about having a shit day. There is a lot to relate to and resonate with as you get swept up by the melodic rhythms and the artist’s infectious charisma throughout.
Of the track, Josh Vine says: “The song is about having a comically bad day and falling out with everyone you know. This was probably the first track I’ve written with a bit of fun and humour in it. A welcome change I’m sure to the usual downbeat sad boy stuff”
