A common thing that people go through following a heartbreak is a period of introspection and soul-searching, looking back on all of the self-destructive behaviours and wasted chances that we have subjected ourselves to and the consequences that they have led to as a result.
This is the subject of the excellent new Joveth single ‘Bubblegum’, a bouncy and cutting edge alternative pop track that has a grungy, guitar-driven aesthetic. In spite of its remorseful subject matter, the track has a really bouncy and fun feel to it stylistically that makes for a plethora of engrossing and memorable moments, capturing the bitter taste of lost chances and youthful exuberance in the artist’s unique and authentic fashion.
