London synth-pop outfit Kabelle were born out of the Covid-19 lockdowns, and thus have had was you can only assume was an uneasy adjustment from an infancy remotely creating synth-pop bangers. Fortunately, if that is the case then it doesn’t come across in their sound, with their nostalgic, all-encompassing soundscapes providing the perfect accompaniment for Katie Jones’s emphatic and memorable vocals.
The latest release from the outfit is their new single ‘Wonder’, a track that showcases all that there is to love about Kabelle, from the pounding drums to the rousing synths, everything here comes together to create a their fun sound that feels as modern and striking as it does timeless.
