With the release of her new single ‘Villain 2.0’, Leanne Gallati has no problem with being the bad guy as she looks back at a failed relationship and holds her hands up and admits that she might be the person in the wrong after all.

There is a really resonating and thoughtful feel to the new release, and a truly refreshing amount of honesty as she confronts her shortcomings and faces up to them in powerful fashion. The dynamic and creative feel of the instrumentation does a great job of upping the stakes and the drama, and it makes for a narrative that feels both deeply personal to the artist while having a relatable appeal that many of us can see ourselves in (if we’re being honest).
