The track is part of the artist’s new debut EP DEBUTANTE
Putting yourself out there is something that feels inherently like a risk, balancing the push and pull and risk and reward of taking a leap and not knowing where you will land, and Loviet single ‘EXPLOSURE’ is a track that captures the juxtaposing feelings of this and the balancing scales between anxiety and excitement.
The artist’s energetic and fun appeal does a great job of capturing this, as well as a title that cleverly ties together the words explosion and exposure together in a portmanteu. The driven nature of the sound and the ever-impassioned and high-octane nature of Loviet’s vocal delivery keep the stakes feeling high and keep things feeling fresh throughout, melding catchiness and dynamism together to rousing effect.
