The track continues the emerging artist’s explosive run of recent form.

With an entirely unique hip-hop infused sound that ripples with a razor sharp edge and an entirely distinctive sense of personality and charisma, Millie Blooms is truly a one of a kind artist who marches to the beat of her own drum.

On her latest single, ‘Bounce Ya Necks’, the artist takes a defiant feminist stance on social injustice within the music industry and life in general. Her cutting sound and unapologetic writing compound the message that she is getting across, making for a track that feels scathing and effortlessly cool throughout, packing a real sense of immersive darkness and sass. Millie Blooms has rapidly made a name for herself as an artist with a dynamic approach an peerless, one of a kind sound, and with each and every new release she seems to be tapping more into her element.

The Welsh Hip-Hop artist shares her experience, “Throughout the years working as both a performer and music producer, I’ve found myself battling misogyny and it saddens me that in 2022, women are still encouraged to be the subject of ‘the male gaze’ in music and other walks of life, with value being highly placed on our aesthetic and willingness to ‘sell sexy’ to succeed in our ambitions. Our bodies, age and attitudes shouldn’t be up for trade when working hard to define our careers, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been told by a pale, white, stale, male that “I’m getting too old to pursue a music artist career, that I need to be thinner and even that I’m a business risk if I have children. As it happens, I’m 41, size 8-10 and chose not to have a family and I’m still feeling the pressure of being made to justify my worth… It’s not right.”
