Friends for many years in London but now making music together online between Cornwall and Plovdiv respectively, Maple Bee (aka Melanie Garside) and Zac Kuzmanov are Moontwin, a duo who’s dreamy and expansive brand of modern electro-pop feels as diverse and creative while having a deeply thoughtful edge to it.

Blessed with an alternative electronic pop allure and a compelling minimalist feel to it that feels almost hypnotic at times, their latest single ‘Storm in a Shell’ is a track that feels as interesting musically as it does narratively. Exploring the human psyche and the ways that we find our place in the world, there is a dreamy and otherworldly aura that surrounds the track and feels intoxicating throughout, making for a compelling sonic journey that is full of charm and appeal. The aura and atmosphere surround it feel palpable throughout, and despite their geographical limitations, the duo feel as perfectly in sync as anything you’re likely to stumble across.
