The track is from their long-awaited upcoming double LP The Day You Flew Away.
Following on from their excellent single ‘Psychonaut’ which came out last month, mr. Gnome have taken a step into more emphatic, anthemic territory on latest single ‘Gold Edges’.
The Cleveland duo, consisting of singer/guitarist Nicole Barille and drummer/pianist Sam Meister, continue to provide further evidence of the hard-hitting and rip-roaring sound that they possess in the run in to the release of new album The Day You Flew Away, their first since 2014’s critically acclaimed The Heart of a Dark Star.
‘Gold Edges’ is a relentless track that showcases the talents of both, packed with punchy rhythms, catchy hooks and kaleidoscopic soundscapes. mr. Gnome feel like an act who are unlike many others, and their unique sound and impeccable juxtaposition of fun and darkness looks set to see them continue to carve out their own path and set themselves aside from their peers.
