’25’ is an energetic quarter-life crisis anthem from Nicole Haber

Here's to being 25.

Here’s to being 25.

Since emerging onto the scene with her 2018 debut EP Vibes, Toronto-based electro-pop artist Nicole Haber has continued to win over hearts and minds with her fun singalong sound and candid and often relatable lyrics.

Speaking of relatable, her new single, the quarter-life crisis anthem ’25’ will feel only too real to mid-to-late 90s kids. The track is fortunately stacked with huge, euphoric moments and catchy elements that prevent things from getting too real and keep the fact that you were 18 seven (7) years ago far from your thoughts. While lyrically things can get a bit existential at times, the artist has such an infectiously fun sound that completely dominates proceedings, that will likely having you singing along the words while worrying about how old you’re getting. ’25’ is a pure pop bop, the track is catchy, it has huge hooks, and the artist’s vocals feel fierce and commanding. There is an all-around sense of fun and energy that oozes from the track, and this does a competent enough job of counteracting the impending doom of reaching yet another milestone.
