Critically acclaimed indie-folk duo nudista have already showcased a raft of creativity and charm throughout their catalogue of tracks, and latest single ‘Waiting Line’ showcases an upbeat, post-grunge aesthetic that feels propulsive and packed full of adventure throughout.

The track, part of their hotly anticipated second EP, Nothing Makes Sense Until It Does, explores feelings of frustration towards somebody who seems scared to face life head on, always looking for some kind of distraction and escape from the throws of reality. This energy is channelled gloriously into a sound that feels both raw and endlessly melodic throughout, with Pilar Matji Cabello and Robbie Carman both shining on one of their most expansive and energetic releases to date.

“‘Waiting line’ is about being frustrated with someone who is constantly trying to escape reality and scared to face life, constantly running away from it” Pilar elaborates. “I also just wanted to write a fun song that gets people shaken up a bit so you can dance off all your frustrations away. As with other tracks on this EP we wanted to introduce a more energetic sound. It’s also a love song I wrote for myself as a compassionate reminder to stay grounded.”
