Aside from frontman Troy Tittley, Nuns of the Tundra has undergone a complete line-up change, and ‘C’est La Live’ is the first view we have into the sound of the newest incarnation of the Bristol-based outfit.
The track is a searing punk-edged gut punch, showcasing both the melody and raucous charm that the outfit possess. Marrying huge soaring choruses with more off-kilter, choppy verses, making for a sound that feels both incessantly accessible but interesting and diverse enough to stand out among the crowd. This is encouraging stuff from the newest form of Nuns of the Tundra, and we look forward to hearing what comes next from the outfit.
