At CLOUT we have grown enamoured with Austrian singer-songwriter OSKA and her poignant sound that feels invariably draped in sincerity and a real touching potency.

Her latest release ‘Responsibility’ serves as an ode to her upbringing and the family ties that influenced her, and the track builds in a really rousing and affecting way. There is a real maturity that permeates OSKA’s work as she pens candid recollections and and examinations of her experiences, set to gorgeous sonic backdrops that  effortlessly lull you into her world on every coming release, and ‘Responsibility’ is potentially the most clear example of this to date.

“It is a very sad story about a parent who leaves their family behind,” OSKA explains of the track. She implores would-be and current parents to think about the world they’re passing down to their children. It’s the same one that will be inherited by your sons and daughters.

It is no secret that OSKA is an artist with an immensely high ceiling and all of the potential in the world, and with tracks like ‘Responsibility’ the devastating power and hold that OSKA has over her sound and her listeners has never been more evident. Early 2022 will see the release of the artist’s debut album My world, My love, Paris, and this has every chance of being a huge, landmark occasion for the artist.
