‘Bite Me’ is more tongue-in-cheek but oddly rousing alt-folk fun from Pacing

The track continues to highlight the wonderful charm and unique appeal of one of our favourite emerging artists.

The track continues to highlight the wonderful charm and unique appeal of one of our favourite emerging artists.

Whether it is for her memes, her entirely unique and personality-filled sound, or her (genuinely concerning) plethora of snake facts and songs about snakes (that sometimes are actually about snakes but sometimes are about other things…), Pacing is an artist who has built a small community about her weird and wonderful writing style and the endearing personality that she has allowed people to engage with over the last few years.

Continuing her stellar run of form, the latest single from the artist is ‘Bite Me’, a track that, despite its name, isn’t about snakes this time, and is about the altogether more harrowing reality of the way that technology can take a hold of us and dominate our lives. Thankfully, the artist’s playful and distinctive sound is here to hold our hand through some of the more biting realities faced on the track and her now signature sense of humour and alluring style make for a release that feels inherently Pacing in a way that only Katie McTigue can.
