Bursting with energy and infectious appeal, latest Pep Squad release ‘Little Game’ melds aspects from hip-hop, pop and alternative rock to craft a sound that feels ferociously modern and distinctively their own.

There is a real sense of uniqueness and cutting edge that hits you repeatedly as the track grows and progresses. The outfit only emerged in 2020 but have truly carved out a niche for themselves with their  sound, packing the uncompromising energy of rock, the melodic irresistibility of pop, and the swagger and bombast of hip-hop. Truly unique and consistently engaging and memorable, Pep Squad continue to hit it out of the park into 2022.

“With the ‘Little Game’ music video, we wanted to lean into a similar vibe that we were inspired by when we wrote the song.” Pep Squad say of the track. “We looked to Missy Elliot, late 90’s and early 2000’s hip hop videos, and mixed in our riot girl, punk rock energy. We worked with the director Fre Angel to create something that was sinister, playful, and over the top. The whole shoot was a blast to film, everyone went for it and that feeling of cartoonish uninhibited fun really shines through on the screen. Cheerleaders, clowns, demented 50’s family, big gold chains, it was a no rules good time.
