The indie pop trio continue to shine on their creative fifth single
On their dreamy and creative fifth single ‘Pleasure’, LA trio Polyglam continue to showcase an affable and charming sound that is packed full of fun little sonic intricacies and things that make them stand out from the crowd.
The engrossing sound is met with thoughtful and introspective lyrics that surround some more challenging themes on the track, with the ultimate question explored being whether or not it’s possible to find moments of pleasure or joy without life’s consequences creeping in. This does little to detract from the rousing fun and distinctive charm of the sound though, with melodic, fun passages, immersive vocals and bossa nova-like guitarwork making for a sound capable of warming the most cynical of hearts.
