The track is the second single from the acts new EP Homegrown.
With the various lockdowns that have been imposed on the world throughout the last year, there has been more time for deep-thinking and soul-searching than ever, and ‘Head Over Heels’ shows Posh Chocolates at their most introspective and reflective.
The track showcases the understated nuance that the act possess and has a deft subtlety to it. ‘Head Over Heels’ is calculated and pristine, while also feeling candid and raw emotionally, as front-man Christian Ellery bares his soul amidst the bands colourful, yet subdued brand of guitar driven synth-pop. The track represents Posh Chocolates at its most bare and vulnerable, and provides a welcome and effective change of pace from their often more animated sound.
