West Midlands based artist Alex Ohm returns with indie-rock anthem ‘Hours’. Taken from his upcoming EP, ‘Hours’ was recorded between Pirate Studios in London and RML Studios in Wolverhampton. Alex is also performing a Facebook live stream gig on the day of release (29th May) to raise further funds for the cause.

Released at a time where many people will be able to relate to, ‘Hours’ comes as a light within the darkness. A stunning single based around time, Alex’s upcoming EP release date has now been moved to September due to the pandemic.

Speaking on why he chose the charity, Ohm stated, ‘These are strenuous times and a lot of services need all the help that they can get. The Corona pandemic is having a huge impact on people’s mental health and Mind is a charity that provides a wide range of support for children and adults struggling with these issues.

It’s important to remember that not everybody is lucky enough to have support from family or a good circle of friends to talk to. It is essential to help these services anyway we can and I hope that what I am doing will provide people with the support that they need.’

An alternative rock meets indie arrangement, stick the track on repeat and watch how the hours go by. Fans across the country will take something from this song and make it there own. Vulnerable but with still a strong head of it’s shoulders, ‘Hours’ stands tall with reassurance that things will be ok in the end.
