Producer and recording artist Amber Wilson reveals indie-pop new single ‘Don’t Forget I’m Human’

Texas, Houston based artist Amber Wilson has a major presence online with over 1,000 YouTube subscribers, 10,000+ followers on TikTok, and more than 15,000 followers on Twitter.

Now, Amber is working hard on original music. Following the success of her debut EP “amber” and her most recent release “Haunt // Bed” originally performed and written by The 1975, Amber will be releasing a new track called “Don’t Forget I’m Human”.

Amber co-wrote and produced this song alongside her friend and mentor Elijah Herrell and colleague Felix Mwangi of 12th Note Productions shortly after she completed her collegiate music studies in Kansas City, Missouri.

In this track, Wilson speaks on the importance of why people should remember her solely for her and not for her accomplishments and achievements as she finds herself embarking on the continuation of her music career.

Speaking about the new release, Amber shares, “While there are certain aspects to my music career that are still relatively small, I can’t help but acknowledge that there is growth that wasn’t present this time a year ago.

For instance, I look at my social media stats and my streaming analytics now compared to last year and it feels like every day there are new levels of growth that are taking place. It’s exciting, don’t get me wrong, but I find myself at times getting nervous over the “what ifs” and the hypothetical idea of what would happen if my music were to blow up at any moment or honestly any topic revolving around my music career.”
