Autorub continues to showcase his compelling, melodic sound and distinctive sense of humour on engrossing new single ‘Miss Mace’
Already celebrated for his distinctively melodic sound and dynamic and acerbic sense of humour, Autorub has continued to showcase both while expanding upon and evolving his killer sound on his latest new single ‘Miss Mace’, switching to 432Hz tuning and adopting a more piano-led approach to give his sound more of a singer-songwriter kind of feel and charm.
The new single has a timeless and gloriously upbeat kind of feel to it throughout, with the artist hiding a deliciously witty narrative about congresswoman Nancy Mace and her flip-flopping views about a certain former President within his harmless and charming sound. The dichotomy between the biting lyrics and sunny appeal of the instrumentation makes for an endlessly interesting and fun listening experience that is more than worth immersing yourself within, and the polished new sheen to the artist’s style truly does give it the kind of barrier-breaking, memorable appeal that feels hard to argue with critically.
The track also comes with a remixed version called ‘EDMace’ if that is more your kind of thing.
“While I put my all into every song I write/produce, I think this one has that ‘it’ factor.” Michael Corn of Autorub says of the new release.
