Simply being human and staying as true to himself as possible, Charlie Jones’ new single ‘Myself’ inherits a fierce electro-pop arrangement
London based singer-songwriter Charlie Jones returns with his fourth single to date, ‘Myself’. No stranger to the music industry, Charlie’s been in bands since the age of 14.
Focusing on all things Charlie, going solo seems to have been his best decision to date. Working with hip-hop producers The Lab behind the scenes, Charlie’s releases bathe in
Charlie told us, “This song is about a stage in my life where I hadn’t felt like the real me for a while and had lost a lot of my favourite traits about myself. I’d become less happy and more complacent about living a life with less ambition but in turn realising this and started the process of overcoming these things.”
‘Myself’ flows like water swimming smoothly through cracks of the river, the lyrics roll of the tongue easily. While the track’s subject details self-doubt and paranoid in a relationship, the uplifting single shakes off the negativity with optimism. Ready for the mainstream charts, this single deserves it’s own throne.
Charlie Jones creates hypnotising music, ready for any dance-floor.
