Music for the late-night overthinkers, ‘Tundra’ is the latest gem from Cyrano
An honest exploration of social anxiety, ‘Tundra‘ is the brand new single from indie artist Cyrano.
Soulful and armed with leftfield beats to covey its chaotic message, ‘Tundra’ specialises in leaving fans wanting more and reminding them that things do get easier.
Speaking about the vibrant new offering, Cyrano shares, “Tundra was born out of several long nights in a sweaty studio in Oxford with Kit Monteith, finding ways to personify those feelings of social anxiety through all kinds of gear.
The process was a special one, bouncing around on synths and drum machines alongside Indian percussion and the fender Rhodes. The heart of Tundra really comes from my sampler that allowed us to dismantle the track in the way we wanted, creating ever evolving sequences that form the song.
I love that no two sections are the same, with the energy continually building throughout and can’t wait to get playing this one live.
Tundra marks the first instalment from my debut EP, Consolations, inspired by Alain de Botton’s book The Consolations of Philosophy. The EP itself follows the arc of a night, with Tundra starting your evening out.
I hope people feel lifted when they hear my music, and connect with Consolations.”
Cyrano’s vocals glide effortlessly throughout and will instantly bewitch your attention and never let it be distracted.
“Tundra” is out worldwide tomorrow and it certainly continues Cyrano’s journey through late night tranquility.
