Telling us about their exciting new release, Dawn Chorus mentioned, “‘Modern Being’ is about social media, cancel culture, doomscrolling, and the gradual withdrawal from reality that can consume people. Like prehistoric humans around a campfire, we lay in bed alone, our faces lit from our screens, desperately broadcasting out to connect with others.
Like all tools it can be incredibly constructive and destructive. This follows a woman who is experiencing the destructive side of it.”
This retro number may pay ode to the jangle-pop 60s era, but it still comes across as refreshingly authentic.
