French Alps Tiger bring the surf rock fun on second single ‘Floor Is Lava’
Following on from the rousing success which was their debut single ‘Tell a Lie’, French Alps Tiger continue to establish their indie infused surf rock sound on their explosive new single ‘Floor Is Lava’.
The infectious energy and atmosphere that the band are sure to grow known for is prevalent here, with it almost impossible to not get whirred up in the immaculate sense of carefree fun that is created. On top of this ‘Floor Is Lava’ has some compelling melodic moments, and does well to bridge the gap between an enjoyable, accessible sound and a raucous surf rock riot.
“It’s one of our favourite songs to play live!” The outfit told us of the track. “Half because it’s a piece of piss so we can flail about and thrash the guitars, half because we stole the chorus from an amazing kids show from the naughties.”
Channelling the spirit of artists like Wavves and Fidlar and bringing a unique flavour and aesthetic to this kind of sound, French Alps Tiger clearly don’t take themselves too serious, but it seems like a matter of time before music fans have no choice but to.
