Norwegian singer-songwriter Frida Blomberg reveals second single to date ‘Still Right Here’
Cinematic, dream-pop songwriter Frida Blomberg specialises in creating electronic nordic pop. Returning with her second single to date, ‘Still Right Here’ tells a story of being left and rejected by someone you love.
With the success of her debut single ‘Closer’ gaining a playlist-spot on New Music Friday Norway, as well as coverage from blogs across the web, this electronic pop artist is destined for her name in lights.
On ‘Still Right Here’, Frida stated, “This song was written early morning at the piano, and I thought it felt cinematic and melancholic. When I started to produce the song, it turned into something very different, with more electronic elements and vocal processing.
It’s about trying to deal with the desire and longing, the dreams and the memories, that are still alive in the mind, and so hard to let go off. It’s a kind of sad song, but there is also something optimistic about it, I think.”
Coated with a captivating aura, ‘Still Right Here’ is based around an electronic production. Using swirls of angelic sounds, the song builds into an anthem. Developing with fragrances of pop, the arrangement of the number gives it an experimental feel.
An enchanting single that will bewitch you with it’s power to move. ‘Still Right Here’ is out now, and deserves a place on your ‘chilled’ playlist for certain.
