Miami based singer-songwriter Ha1ey releases debut independently produced single ‘Seltzer’
Specialising in persona pop, a genre defined by bold truth and cinematic drama, Ha1ey will become a household name.
Thrilled to be producing music for her upcoming EP, the songwriter is embarking on a new journey in LA.
Explaining the message behind Seltzer, Ha1ey states, “Creating “Seltzer” was like holding up a mirror that showed me how big my vision can be. From the first line I wrote in the shower to the export of the final mix, I felt like I was evolving into the truest version of myself.
This track is my debut release as an artist who produces and mixes her own music. The
process was imperfect, messy, empowering, and liberating all at the same time. When I had moments of asking myself, “am I doing this right?,”
I kept going back to the reason I wrote the song in the first place. I wrote it for anyone who is tired of sitting gently in the shadow of their potential. I wrote it for anyone who is tired of shrinking to make others more comfortable.
I wrote it for the unapologetic badass in all of us, ready to spice things up. If you keep diluting seltzer, it goes flat. If you say “screw it” and shake it up in its raw form, it’s pretty damn epic.”
