Canadian artist His His is here with breathtaking ‘West Coast’
Combining delicate guitar lines with simple yet thoughtful vocals, Aidan Belo is a Toronto-based artist that creates distinctive indie sounds.
Aidan is the brainchild of His His – a project that he creates as an outlet after relocating to his families hobby farm outside of Toronto in an attempt to evoke something rural and honest.
EP “Garden Songs” is about to be dropped, and we’ve got the lovely honour of sharing an exclusive listen into one of the songs of the release, ‘West Coast’.
Speaking about the release, Aidan shares, “This track was inspired by spending a rainy afternoon in my bedroom apartment, dreaming of being on the sunnier West Coast. The winters in Toronto are long, dark, and cold.
I recorded the song onto a 4-track reel-to-reel machine with old ¼ inch tape, which gave the track the warm, saturated sound I imagine warm hazy evenings in LA look and feel like.”
