East Anglian singer-songwriter Joe Luke Bailey shares his infectiously joyous festive charity single ‘It’s Christmas’
Released to raise awareness and funds for the Christmas charity Give A Gift, the single is the first track to be taken from an upcoming EP of new, original Christmas songs all written by Bailey himself.
Recorded with acclaimed producer Ian Curnow (famed for his work with Talk Talk, Rick Astley and Christmas royalty East 17), the new single ‘It’s Christmas’ captures the Xmas spirit beautifully whilst delivering a catchy tune to boot with charismatic vocals, tight backing vocals and energetic strummed acoustic guitars.
Joe explains: “It’s Christmas’ is a tribute to Christmas bangers of old. I wanted to incorporate as many little nods to 60s and 70s festive hits as I could in one song, and I think it turned out pretty great!
Lyrically, the song is about having a revolving door of guests – family and friends coming and going over the Xmas period.
Because that’s what Christmas is all about!”
