John Dhali unveils empowering new single ‘Soft Kiss’
London based soul-folk artist John Dhali unveils his latest uplifting single. Titled ‘Soft Kiss‘, the joyful release is driven by drums, cinematic strings and a passionate vocal from John.
Already gaining national airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 2, we’re certain that ‘Soft Kiss’ will follow in the footsteps of previous releases with ease.
An innovative feel to it’s arrangement and reminiscing a soft Pulp meets Sam Fender vibe to it’s production, John stated, “I wrote this tune back in the first Lockdown. It was like a release from own struggles with mental health this year. There’s a lot fear and negativity going around but I just wanted to say we can still get the f**k up and dance it out.
It’s easy to get caught up in your own head and become anxious or depressed – I definitely have. But it’s kind of a duty to do whatever you can to create some joy and ‘Don’t harden up your heart’ as the lyrics go.”
A driven song that the world needs right now, ‘Soft Kiss’ feels like a warm hug from your loved ones.
A comforting track within the doom and gloom of the world, John Dhali’s new single is positive, vibrant and mainly, memorable.
Somebody get this to Christmas number one!
