Emerging artist L E A announces alt-pop infused EP ‘Jersey Boy’

Speaking about the release, L E A shares, “Some people may think ‘oh, ‘Jersey Boy’, wonder who that is, but I didn’t title the EP with one person in mind. Once I had three songs fully written, they felt so linear.
After going through a couple of years of college, I felt like I was losing myself trying to make music in a genre I didn’t own. Instead of trying so hard, I decided to reflect on what made me the songwriter I a today and channel it back to my Jersey roots. Then of course I heard the song “Tis the Damn Season” by Taylor Swift and immediately connected those feelings to my own project.
Something about hometown people, hometown music and finding yourself back where you started and where you belong – feels like a step in the right direction.”
Accompanied by visualizers for each track on the release, this homegrown talent explores themes of love, heartache and self-discovery.
